Kyoto Day Trip

Discover the Full-day sightseeing tour of the ancient sites of Kyoto! Enjoy the history and religions of ancient Japan during this 10-hour exploration of Kyoto and Nara. See Kyoto’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kinkaku-ji and Nijo Castle, along with its Imperial Palace. Then drive from Kyoto to Nara to explore its own World Heritage site, Todai-ji Temple (including Great Buddha Hall), plus Kasuga Shrine.

You’ll also visit Nara’s deer park and sample a Japanese and Western-style meal for lunch. Your Nara and Kyoto visit also includes a guide, coach transport, all entrance fees and pickup at select hotels. 

Transportation to and from Kyoto is also included.

Passport to Tokyo Basketball Summer Camp

An exciting chance for American kids to interact with Japanese people, culture, and experiences in Tokyo Japan.

The opportunity is available for kids from 12 -19, However Kids between 12-15 will require an accompanying guardian.

Participant kids have two ways of applying to attend:

  • Guaranteed Ticket - before May 1, 2017 $3,700 (early bird) after May 1, 2017 = $4,700 

Flights will originate from Atlanta, Georgia and return to Atlanta Georgia only

  • Apply for Scholarship, where selections will be based on sponsor participation and availability

All Scholarship Awards will be announced before June 2, 2017.

*All Guardian Tickets will have to be purchased

 

Additionally there will also be an optionally purchasable 10 hour Day Trip to Kyoto, Japan which would extend participants stay for an extra day

Qlear Entertainment is happy to offer and host our first annual International Basketball Experience. This event gives participants the opportunity to develop skills, meet new friends, expand their cultural exposure, and create and share a great time over the summer. International Participant and International Companion tickets are strictly for foreign visitors to Japan and this experience. If you are local to the Japanese area, you will need to purchase the "Local" branded tickets for participants. Reserve your place with your ticket purchase or signup for our shcoloarship list on the next tab. We cant garuentee a scholarhsip, but we will make postive effort to obtain sponsred scholarhsips to ensure the broadest participation and availability for both  international and local participants. Please refere to the Scholarship tab for further details and signup opportunity. 

Kyoto Day Trip: A separate Kyoto Day trip ticket can be purchased for all participants who would like to extend their experience with a group day trip to Kyoto to enjoy the traditional landmarks, food, and hospitality offered in one of Japans most traditional cities.

International Participants: Your Participant ticket purchase includes: Flight, lodging, hotel and venue transportation, lunch and dinner, camp registration, and participation.

Local Participants: Your ticket purchases includes camp registration, and participation. Meal tickets can be purchased in addition to the participation tickets. Please ensure arrangements for transportation and necessary equipment are planned.

Ages:

Boys ages 9-18 years (elementary - high school). Children between the age of 9-15 will need to be accompanied by a guardian. That guardian will need to purchase an International Companion Ticket.

Cost:

LOCAL PARTICIPANTS: $650 PER PERSON

INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS: $3,700 PER PERSON

INTERNATIONAL COMPANIONS: $3,200 PER PERSON

Package Total is due in full at the time of registration. A 3% processing fee will be added at checkout.

Cancellation Policy:

$300 of your camp tuition (plus the online processing fee) is non-refundable regardless of the date of cancellation with no exceptions. Should circumstances require you to cancel prior to four weeks ahead of your camp session’s start date, you may choose to receive a refund for all except for the non-refundable portion of your tuition. 

Local Participants:

Local participants participate in the same activities as boarding participants except for breakfast and lodging based activities. Local participants are expected to have breakfast prior to their arrival and to be picked up either after their evening game or after the evening program which ends at approximately 5:30pm. Local participants must check-in each morning and check-out with an event staff or coach each evening. Local participants are not permitted in the lodging areas after hours.

What To Bring:

Please label all belongings.

    •    Basketball shoes

    •    At least six pairs of basketball shorts

    •    At least six pairs of athletic socks

    •    At least six t-shirts

    •    Pajamas

    •    Participants are permitted to bring cell phones, iPods, etc to camp but we strongly recommend that these items be left locked in the participant's room or be stored somewhere safe. Qlear Entertainment is not responsible for lost items. If your participant chooses to carry a bag around to gyms, please make sure the bag is clearly identifiable and labeled with his name.

    •    For participants who need to carry medication with them throughout the camp day, we recommend a string backpack labeled clearly with the participant’s name.

Our aim is to provide the opportunity for as many kids to get a chance at this opportunity, we are setting up a scholarrship program to fund as many kids to particpate as possible.  To place on the the "First Come First Serve" List, please place the particpants information on the form below. Please be aware that while this event is open to 12 - 18 year olds, any particpant under the age of 15 will need to have a "Gaurdian" who will need to purchase a "Gaurdian Ticket".
